200 tons (COLPAC-526)
This course will satisfy the exam requirements for the
raise in grade of Master 100 tons or less to Master or
Mate 200 tons or less.
Subjects include navigation, Safety, and Inspected and
Uninspected Vessel Regulations.
Prerequisites courses or endorsements.
- Master 100 tons or less endorsement or course
completion certificate required.
$600 including the $100 scheduling fee.

USCG approval:
- Any applicant who has successfully completed
your Upgrade Master 100 Tons to Master 200
Tons (COLPAC-526) course and presents your
Certificate of Training within one year of the
completion of training, will satisfy the
examination requirements for upgrade of a
merchant mariner endorsement as Master not
more than 100 gross tons Upon Near Coastal, or
Great Lakes & Inland, or Inland Waters to Master
or Mate of not more than 200 gross tons Upon
Near Coastal, or Great Lakes & Inland, or Inland
Waters. The course completion certificate issued
upon successful completion of this course is valid
for one application which results in the issuance
of an endorsement(s) and may not be used for
future application transactions.

from 8AM through 5PM.
Registration is on the first day of the class and requires
a photo ID and full payment for the class. Acceptable

The following schedule includes the entire two-course
sequence. Students holding an existing endorsement
as Master 100 tons or less are only required to take
the four day upgrade course.
