To register for a course call (503) 841-6066 and ask for Pat, she can
take your information over the phone. Some courses require a $100 non-
refundable registration fee that is applied to the cost of the course. Because of
the small class size our classes fill early. It is highly recommended that you
register at least 30 days in advance.

Classroom hours are from 0800 through 1700 daily. Please be a few minutes
early on the first day in order to complete the enrollment paperwork and pay
for the course. Enrollment requires a photo ID. Acceptable methods of payment
are cash, check, MasterCard or Visa.

64-hour OUPV Course
    This eight-day course will satisfy the USCG exam
    requirements for an OUPV license with either an
    inland or near coastal route.



80-hour Master 100 ton Course
    This ten-day course will satisfy the USCG exam
    requirements for a Master or Mate 25, 50 or 100
    ton license with either an inland or near coastal
    route.


24-hour Upgrade OUPV to Master 100 ton Course
    This course will satisfy the USCG exam
    requirements for the upgrade of an existing OUPV
    license to Master 25, 50 or 100 tons with a near
    coastal route.


32-hour Upgrade Master 100 to Master 200 ton Course
    This course will satisfy the USCG exam
    requirements for the upgrade of an existing Master
    100 ton license to Master 200 tons.


24-hour Rules of the Road Course
    This course will satisfy the USCG exam
    requirements for the 30-question Rules of the
    Road exam or provide 7-days of sea service credit
    towards an OUPV or Master's license of less than
    200 tons.

48-hour Able Seaman Course
    This course will satisfy the USCG exam
    requirements for any Able Seaman rating.



16-hour Apprentice Mate (steersman) Upgrade Course
    This course will satisfy the USCG exam
    requirements for the Apprentice Mate (steersman)
    exam to upgrade an existing Master 200 ton
    license to Apprentice Mate (steersman).

8-hour Master / Mate of Fishing Vessel Upgrade Course
    This course will satisfy the USCG exam
    requirements for the upgrade of an existing license
    of 150 tons or higher to Master or Mate of Fishing
    Vessels.

Radar Observer Courses
    Radar observer courses for unlimited radar
    observer and for the renewal of any radar observer
    endorsement are scheduled one student at a time,
    by appointment only, seven days a week.

1-day Visual Communications (Flashing Light) Course
    This course will satisfy the STCW 95 OICNW
    assessment for Flashing Light and is scheduled one
    student at a time, by appointment only, seven
    days a week.

License Endorsement Courses
    Auxiliary sail endorsement and assistance towing
    endorsement courses are scheduled one student at
    a time, by appointment only, seven days a week.


Celestial Navigation Courses
    Celestial navigation courses that will satisfy the
    USCG celestial navigation exam for adding "all
    oceans" to a deck license as Master or Mate of
    fishing or inspected vessels from 1600 tons and
    less are scheduled one student at a time, by
    appointment only, seven days a week.
